Topic: What Joe's LP is this one? (New Member, SoloDallas, Fan of Joe's)

Hey all, new member here. I'm SoloDallas, also a Gibson LP fanatic.
I was watching Joe's DVD guitar lessons I have, where he is playing the following LP:

Any of you know what this is? (Historic, vintage LP, ... ). I LOVE that top.

Thank you!

I think that's the one that Joe describes on the last page in the "Live at RAH" DVD insert as a 1999 Gibson Les Paul Historic Tom Murphy. Joe's guitar tech, Dave Pate has since outfitted it with a Bigsby vibrato.

Major Tom to ground control...

Is this the same SoloDallas with the millon AC/DC (and some others) tutorials on youtube. If so (there can't be more than 1 SoloDallas) those are bitchin'.....Welcome to the land of Joe Bonamassa.

How's the new AY SG treating you?

Thank you Rik Hemmet Fan.
Rpic, yes, that's me! Thank you!
I am loving the new AY sig. I would have NEVER thought it could be a "real" guitar I could play.
Instead, it is.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the info, guys!

Hi Joe!
I have seen that. And black plastic, too. Looks super with the Bigsby!
I presume this is you replying directly.

What an amazing guitar player and guy you are. I have seen several interviews of yours as well, in addition to the albums of yours I own.
I also liked one instructional DVD of yours, and was reviewing it today.

I respect you wholly and look towards you - despite being a little older than you are - as THE current blues/rock tradition guy who keeps it and will keep it alive.

For someone like me, this alone is fundamental.

Thank you, indeed,

Rami, yes it's me. Dallas68 on the LPF.
Thank YOU!
There is a LOT to learn from Joe. I really like his phrasing and intensity. He's the only "new" guy that I can listen to. Him and Derek Trucks. No one else.

Looks like SoloDallas has a following of his own!  ha! Hey man are you from the Dallas area?  I come up there from Houston periodically.  Would be cool to catch a  gig or jam.  Love your Kossof videos.  Keep rocking!

Dallas, this sounds really cool and is well played.
Liked the lead part dynamics and vibrato.

Good job
