Same here and I don't mean to be blasé about it. The headstock looks great on Lennon's Casino, for example, but it just doesn't go with a Les Paul.
I agree. One of those things. Otherwise what a great opportunity to own a Joe guitar for a lot less $.
I'd like to see his Standard run of Les Pauls come out... not the custom shop ones. No time frame for ANY of these? I'm saving money can keep eyeing up the Les Paul Classics from the early 90's on eBay... lovely tops! One of them might steal my heart before any of Joe's guitars hit the market!

Its acutally really good timing that this thread appeared. As I type this I am taking a break after signing the first 400 of 1000 Certificates for the Epiphone. The guitar is cool. It feels very good and has the same burstbuckers I use in the Custom Shop Models. I am very honored that Gibson/ Epiphone is doing this. I hope you all like them.

I've been told most of these guitars will go to the EU as that is where the most demand has come from.
How about the guts? The humbuckers are the same but is it Gibson Custom shop guts or standard Epiphone pots, switch, and caps? A real guitar for decent price or a toy guitar?
Great! Can't wait to get one! I would never be able to afford the Gibson version as I have to pay for college tuition somehow, but this will do me just fine.
Whats it gonna take for me to get one of these? I'm GASing like crazy for a JB Signature LP and I don't have 4 grand for the Gibson sadly. Will these be hard to get a hold of?
I've found the full specs of the Epiphone JB Signature Les Paul and some very nice pics of Joe modelling it here. 
Just scroll half way down until you come to 'Joe Bonamassa' and feast your eyes. I must say it does look very good and the quality appears excellent.
Anyone have any idea how to get an early one? Please.

It looks great, They need to put a black selector switch tip on it, though.
CTS Pots and Bumble Bee Caps?????? Anyone know if it has what the real JBLP has in it? I'd hate to buy it as a collectable only to gut it and put good electronics in it.

I would like to thank Joe for the guitar I recently won. It's a black Epiphone LP autographed by Joe.
I will try to use a pic of the guitar as my avatar in the near future. I was really surprised when I received the call telling me I was the winner. Although it's an entry level model, I am going to mount it on the wall of my home studio to serve as inspiration. I would certainly like to see the JB signature guitar by Epiphone and see how it plays. I have a Gibson Custom Shop LP to use as a comparison.
I ordered one a few weeks ago, shipping date keeps getting changed. Last I was told it should be 10Jan11. I hope I don't get hosed and get left out.
