Topic: Joe should be getting royalties for this strat....

Stopped in the Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd

Had the LTD edition Custom Shop Strat like the one below
Looked "exactly" like Joe's, cracks in the paint and all
It's just a little too close not to be a Signature Model

P.S. the strat looks much golder than in the pic, it is
a dead ringer

I really cant believe it.. Its my guitar.. The neck wear is identical and the hardware...

So is there a signature JB guitar from Fender now?  I remember you said something, Joe, about the custom shop building you a replica of the gold strat... could they have put unofficially in production?

There already is/was a Dick Dale Signature Strat

think it had a reverse head stock, but at least it was called a "Dick Dale Signature Strat"

when I saw this one in Hollywood, I thought Joe may have traded his in,
In person, it looks like that much of a replica

I remember a couple of years back, a local dealer had a bunch of Custom Shop
Tele's that were dead ringers for Keefs #1

Not sure what forced the change, if it was Keef, his people, whoever
but they had to be re-painted, they became vintage white
