Topic: This is a Question for Joe about the Tab Book

Joe, can you tell this once and for all?
Did you do a Tab book for Hal Leonard?
Do you know when it will be released for sale?
There are several of us who ordered it and keep getting e-mails that the due date is pushed back.

Thanks,
Scott

Re: This is a Question for Joe about the Tab Book

Well, I don't know if Joe will reply. As yet he has not replied to any of the questions concerning the tab book. The publisher is actually Cherry Lane, but Hal Leonard is the distributor.

I spoke to Hal Leonard customer service and they knew nothing.

Cherry Lane has never responded to any emails or questions concerning the book.

It would be nice if Joe would at least acknowledge its' existence or not.

Joe? How about it?

Nothin' but the Blues

from what I've heard, its been finished for a while - but has yet to be released to the public.  Maybe the final revisions were made but it has not been printed.  I wonder how many of us are actually waiting?

Also Im wondering if the covers are going to be the original music or joe's version of the music. I want joe's solos and such...

My guess is that if it is a Joe Bonamassa tab book, they'd have his versions of the songs... but then again you never know with all the weird stuff going on in the music business today smile

Apart from anything they might take from the ANDY live album, songs like Pain And Sorrow would be the studio version because no definitive live version exists.

a definitive live version- Joe has never officially released a live version of Pain and Sorrow, therefore a live version of the song won't be in the tab book...
