Topic: Gibson's Inspred by Joe Bonamassa Aged Gold top

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking into these guitars and I have looked around all over the internet and I am unable to find if there is definately only going to be 300 of them. On gibson's website I think it just says "limited" but it doesn't put an actual figure on it.

Would anybody be able to confirm either way?

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Gibson's Inspred by Joe Bonamassa Aged Gold top

There's one in Guitar Village in Farnham. I've played it and it seemed like a gooden. I didn't think to check which number it was though.

Re: Gibson's Inspred by Joe Bonamassa Aged Gold top

So I'm not with the times on Bonamassa's Signature Les Paul.  What does it feature?  I've heard someone say its a 57' with a 59' neck.   Also I've heard it has burst bucker 2 and 3 pickups.  Is there anything else besides the black plastic and back that stands out on it?

Hi,

you can easily read everything on the Gibson site

If I hadn't my '57 Goldtop I would buy a JB immediately....
Really cool guitar.

Those were especially made for Wildwood guitars.. They are actually not aged.. They will be the rarest ones out there.  Cause I think there are only 25 being produced not aged.. Everything the same except the aging ..  Enjoy

Hey guys,

Cheers for the confirmtation on that info...........I bought one lol.

After having a bit of a jam on Michael's, #005 (the video of which Michael kindly put on youtube big_smile) I realised, they were seriously awesome guitars and I just had to buy one. I knew Id regret it when I'm older if i didn't.

Mine is #065 and I have to say I couldn't be happier with it. It arrived on thursday and now my fingers are too sore to continue playing, so I have stoped big_smile

Cheers,
Matt

Oh Matt, Sue & I are so happy for you. We couldn't believe you were shaking so much when you were playing it. You're Dad knew you just had to have one! Congratulations. We felt so bad for you missing the Manchester show and not being able to get back for the revised date. Glad you got your tickets for the RAH. We MUST hook up for that!

Re: Gibson's Inspred by Joe Bonamassa Aged Gold top

Hi everyone.  Joe do you know whay the COA is different on the unaged ones?  To me not the biggest deal since the one I have #256 is the biggest warmest Les Paul I have ever played.  I am a player not a collector but I know there is a lot of questions out there about the COA.

Most of all Happy Thanksgiving and I can't wait for you to be playing back in Atlanta!  I saw you on Oct 11th and when you were playing the Goldtop it was by far the biggest sounding guitar of the night.  I don't know what Gibson did to these.....but damn I am hooked!
