A date for your diaries.
Paul Jones has Joe in session on his BBC Radio 2 show on 23 February at 19:00 hours.
Paul is a big fan, having recorded the Shepherds Bush gig in 2007.
Hoping for a similar announcement from fellow BBC Radio 2 DJ Bob Harris who has also had Joe in session and regularly promotes his music.

According to Joe's Facebook page, he's been in London for a tour of the Royal Albert Hall, and to appear on Jools Holland's radio show, also on BBC Radio 2. Am not certain when that's going to air though. I believe it'll air to coincide with Joe's performance at the RAH. I have contacted the show to find out exactly when this will air......and I've just seen that Jools's show kicks back in in April.....on Monday nights between 2230 and 2330 UK time. Am sure this will be confirmed by someone far more knowledgeable than myself closer to the date. It's all very exciting news though isnt it??
Who knows...there may even be an appearance on Later before too long, like we've all been pushing for.
Anyway, I will certainly be listening out for Paul Jones show. 
That's an interesting development Paul, lets hope Holland is as taken with Joe as we are and invites him back to do Later, some time in the future.

And they done what to help promote Joe??? I think credence gives it to Paul, plus he his very mean on the harp.

Joe has reported on Facebook that the Jools show on BBC Radio 2 will be aired on the 6th April. Damn, I'm going to miss it live but hope to catch it when I get back off my dive trip of a lifetime!

Well excuse me I'm sure (not). I didn't realise I was on the 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' page. I was commenting on their musical ability, not what they have or haven't done to help promote Joe.........or fair trade or world peace either for that matter. Simply, they're both fine harp players, that's all.

Paul dedicated part of his programme tonight to the memory of Les Paul and the final song he played as that tribute was Joe's live version of Sloe Gin. The track was played for Fiona's 50th birthday and Paul also mentioned Joe's custom built Les Paul! Nice also to hear Bex Marshall played after Joe's song.
