Re: Super Group CD with Joe
Hello to everyone here. This is my first post.
I am new to Joe's stuff and it's because of his connection to Glenn Hughes. I want to say that I am impressed with Joe's stuff and have much more to check out.
To the naysayers, Glenn is an absolutely amazing musician, singer, bass player and song writer. He has an incredible cataloge of music. Once I gave some of it a good listen I was hooked for life! Then I saw him live! I have been to hundreds of shows over the last 33 years and the 4 GH shows were amongst the absolute best and most memorable. It is scary how talented the guy is. I know that some may read this and think yeah right! The finished product will do all the talking I'm certain. And if they actually tour, it simply can't be missed!!
I can only imagine what Glenn and Joe as well as the others will come up with!! I have a feeling this is going to really be something though. Glenn put his current solo project on hold for this. He was very excited about recording that too. His last several have been extremely good. This project had to be the real deal for him to even consider putting that aside.
Someone wrote about Joe letting Glenn sit in at the Hollywood show. Does this person know how highly Glenn is regarded by other musicians? I would be willing to bet that Joe was honered to have Glenn play with him, as was Glenn to play with Joe.
Anyway, here's to a great record and hopefully a tour as well. I will be checking out more JB and will post my thoughts.
