Topic: Joe's Guitars played at the Baked Potato

Here are the three he played. He said it was a good chance to break out the old ones.

Gee, I forgot to get a shot of them. The amp is the one behind the 255 on one shot, maybe one of you will recognize it. Pedals, not his board, a loose group (4 or 5 I think) he patched up on stage. Delay, fuzz, TS, wah, from the sound of it. He got that Dustbowl sound going with the Tele. I'd say this is his gig rig he's talked about that he uses in LA. He brought the plexiglass shield but there wasn't room onstage for it. The old 'caster was so worn the fingerboard was scalloped between the frets. Stained and worn from years of use. He said it was a session gt. The 255 was pristine . That might be part of the trade for the '68 goldtop on ebay he did.

Re: Joe's Guitars played at the Baked Potato

Here is what I used..
1953 Fender Telecaster, 1953 Gibson ES-295 and JB#52 Les Paul Goldtop..  I ran my old G-4 Korg Leslie Box and a Way Huge Aqua puss..  The amps are a pair of Jim Kelley's from around 1979..  I love Jim Kelley amps and consider Jim one of my good friends as well.   The bottom amp is a rare prototype dual channel with reverb,  the top amp is a single channel #013 that Jim was extremely nice to restore to original spec for me.. I love them.. They are like the most complex rich sounding Fender Deluxes you will ever play..  Plus they are 60 watts and really clean..  Thanks to everyone for making that a real treat for me..  I had a blast and so did all the fellow Rock Candy guys..
