Really, one of the best albums i have ever heard, There is not one song i don’t find satisfying!
Its really very well thought out and has the best of everything with Blues, rock, jazz, country.
I have not been this happy about an album since i heard Rory Gallagher’s Irish tour, (Another amazing guitarist who never failed to impress! And from my own town of cork too!)
Really looking forward to the next joe, and well done in the cork opera house in december.
Eoin.
Dear JOE Bonamassa!
I´m very sorry to inform you that my beloved brother SURIA MISTRY passed away on the 29. of January 2009 and we played the ballad of John Henry, at his funeral, because that was his favorite. He had met you I think in Sweden or in Denmark, when you´re toruring and he had a chat with you. I just want to let you know that your music meant a lot to him, and now I´m also listening to your guitar session, with Eric Clapton.
I know that you meet many people through your touring and koncerts I really do hope that you do remember ONE BLACK GUY WHO CAME AND TALKED TO YOU. in DENMARK OR IN SWEDEN. I just remember that he told me, that he had met you. It was one of his biggest achievment in life to able to meet you in person. Pls when is your next koncert in DENMARK – at TRAIN? I will definately come and check you out. I love your music and the way you play guitar. God bless you and take good care of yourself. A git´ft of love and compassion.
Hey JOE
my favourite songs are; Happier Times, Last Kiss Before I Die, Livving in A Dust Bowl and Woke Up Dreaming at Royal Albert Hall Black Lung Heartache. Thank you for writting so powerful lyrics and music..
It´s true Friday comes and goes, I guess I won´t talk to you anymore, so many things unsaid and so many things I want to say…. and you know what sometimes we wish that we had delivered the lasr words, I remember very last words of my MAMA, “She said I wonder if I`LL still be able to hear music when I´m dead – gone”, It was so powerful to hear, but also very painful hearing that from my mother.
