I just can`t tell how fantastic this guy is. I just love his guitarplaying here like I did at the Notodden Blues Festival in Norway. I did see him last year to at John Dee in Oslo and I hope I will hear him many years to come. I got his t-shirts and all his cd`s and Dvd`s. Will buy whatever he record.
best wishes from Norway

Joe is simply the best. Keeping the music ALIVE is one thing, but Joe is reinventing the blues in his own fashion. How lucky we are to be here for it!

@Mike Seeing Steve and Joe playing together is worth posting on the site regardless of the quality. To of my faves together! Nice treat. Hope to see this combo again.

Impressive and perfectly understandable that JB was welcomed to play among this company. But this video is bad home movie quality, let alone worthy of presentation on a professional web site. Present the news for the recognition it merits, but leave the lousy video to the amateurs. It fails to showcase the caliber of your talent, especially since the initial melody guitar sounds are not JB’s. JB only comes in later with the lead flourishes.

Hi Joe, I am in love with your singing on Sloe Gin and your guitaring is lovely. Did you write India/Mountain Time?. I just really enjoy that tune it has bought tears almost to my eyes and I hadn’t in 4 years. DEF LEPPARD actually succeeded in making me cry and release the other day for a couple of minutes first thing in the morning. I am a romantic too, but as you will see when you please look me up on http://www.myspace/somethinkmonkey, my songs aren’t really blues. What do you think? How would you categorize them? I listen to you on Planet Rock and have bought two of your albums Sloe Gin and Live from Nowhere in Particular. Please get in touch with me. Yours, Vanes
